 Have you ever wondered why do you blog, or why blogging? Today there are more than 70 million blogs on the Internet and it would be interesting to ask: "What purpose do they pursue?"



Until lately, making money online was no easy task for common people like us. Before WEB 2.0, 4-5 years ago it was pretty hard to make money on the Web. The available ways for us back then were website creating, it's promotion, and selling of advertising places.


Now all that has changed. Blog fever intensifies daily, and people who heard about blogging, wants to have a blog. Thus, why? Let's try to guess a bit.


1. Self-expression.
Many people blog because it charges them with energy. "I have created this blog just to share my houghts". Why not? There are also professionals in specialized fields, who don't have other chances to express themselves and share their expertise. The Web is the best tool for people like us.


2. Laurels. The amour propre will always exist. Is there a sursprise in people wanting to be famous? See how many awesome people you have met since you have started blogging. Jean Fynne, Janos Karr, Brett Darren? Would you have met them without your blog?

Internet is not yet half developed and I don't leave out the possibility that people can become famous online first and, in real life, only after. Blogging is what this makes these people tick.


3. Business. For many people, blogging is actually an occupation. Companies employ people to write about their new products or services and to announce and promote them. As I have written in my article "Blogger For Hire", the average salary of such a blogger in US is of approximately $2000-3000 per month.


4. To Help Other People.
Why not? I have found lots of blogs of physicians, engineers, or common workers who are writing about what should be done in different situations.


5. Online Money Making.
Most of the times people are blogging to make money. Some people just blog and make money without having this purpose. But for many people blog is a just a huge business. I read somewhere, that somebody makes more than $100,000 per month. Those people don't have any financial problems, don't you agree?


6. Sale of affiliate goods.
Check this out. Lately, new techniques appeared that help anybody to sell affiliate products using blogging.


7. Sale of your own products/services.
Via Internet, we can sell our own products internationally immediately after starting the business. Particularly, when we have an electronic merchandise as an eBook or effective software, The Web is the best tool we can use. And many people are using it as we speak. Blogging helps you to achieve these goals.


Each of us has different point of view, however in the end they become harmonious, because blogging brings us together. Let's create blogs, advertise them and enjoy the challenge, because it holds beautiful chances for a great life.
